Royal Doulton Cookie HN2218 Figurine

$44.00

A petite Royal Doulton character figurine titled Cookie, modeled as a young cook dressed in a full pink gown with puffed sleeves, a white ruffled apron, and coordinating cap. She holds a rolling pin across her apron and a small black cookbook or recipe book in her raised hand.

Designed by Peggy Davies, Cookie was introduced in 1958 as model HN2218 and remained in production through 1975. At approximately 4¾ inches tall, she belongs to Royal Doulton’s smaller-scale character figures, with the elaborate dress, expressive painted face, and glossy hand-finished decoration characteristic of the company’s mid-century bone china figures.

The underside retains the full Royal Doulton backstamp identifying the figure as Cookie, H.N. 2218, together with the 1957 copyright date and registered design numbers.

Condition

Good pre-owned condition with light wear consistent with age and previous display.

The glossy glaze, hand-painted facial details, and pink-and-white decoration remain bright and well-defined. The figure appears complete, with the rolling pin, black book, apron, cap, and other modeled details intact.
