This decorative Thomas Kinkade set features his Moonlight Cottage artwork on both a porcelain cup and matching collector plate, displayed together on the original dark wood-look stand with gold-tone spring hardware.
The scene shows a stone cottage illuminated from within, surrounded by flowers, trees, and a softly lit path beneath a blue evening sky. Both pieces are finished with gold-tone trim, including the cup’s handle and rim and the plate’s outer edge.
The reverse is marked Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light, Moonlight Cottage, Teleflora Gift, with production information for Thomas Kinkade Media Arts Group. The set was made in China and was created specifically as decorative giftware rather than functional tableware. The backstamp states “Not for food use” and “For decorative purposes only.”
Good pre-owned condition with light wear consistent with age and display.
The porcelain remains glossy, the cottage imagery is clear, and the gold-tone accents remain well defined. Minor surface marks or light wear may be present on the porcelain, metal hardware, and display base.
The original display stand and metal retaining hardware are included.
